Laneway 2026 Announces Venues & Dates, Lineup To Come Thursday

Share

Laneway is back and has just announced its 2026 venues and dates, with the full line-up announcement dropping Thursday.

Laneway has officially dropped its 2026 dates, with a new Queensland location.

The festival released its list of venues and dates this morning on social media, confirming that it will return in February next year. The same post confirmed that the official line-up will be announced later this week, on Thursday at 8:10 am AEST.

Laneway 2026 Venue and Dates

The festival has confirmed the dates as follows:

  • Thursday 5 Feb – Western Springs, Auckland
  • Saturday 7 Feb – Southport Sharks, Gold Coast
  • Sunday 8 Feb – Centennial Park, Sydney
  • Friday 13 Feb – Flemington Park, Melbourne
  • Saturday 14 Feb – Adelaide Showgrounds, Adelaide
  • Sunday 15 Feb – Arena Joondalup, Perth

This will be the first Laneway in over 10 years to visit the Gold Coast. In a statement shared by Laneway, the team announced that, given the usual Brisbane venue is currently under development for the 2032 Olympics, the timing was right to move Laneway to the Gold Coast this year.

Additionally, Adelaide is also relocating to the larger Adelaide Showgrounds. Perth is also changing venues to Arena Joondalup, which Laneway says will provide more space for audiences to enjoy the 2026 chapter of Laneway.

As mentioned above, no official lineup has been announced yet, but you can be sure the rumour mill is speculating hard.

Laneway 2025 saw the likes of Charli xcx, Beabadoobee, Clairo, 2Hollis and more play at the festival. With Tame Impala releasing their new album Deadbeat later this year, fans are thinking the Aussie-psych group might return down under for the festival.

Chappelle Roan has also been heavily speculated to headline the 2026 festival. Given that the festival managed to land Charli xcx for last year’s festival, fans are pinning their faith on Roan to match that star power.

Eagle-eyed fans are also speculating on whether The 1975, Wolf Alice or Mitski will make their return to the festival next year, noting how the artists have yet to lock in any 2026 tour dates.

But alas, until Thursday, it’s still anyone’s guess as to who will be following such a powerful lineup after this year’s Laneway.
