Linkin Park made a surprise appearance on Twitch streamer Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 marathon last Friday to perform in the streamer’s bedroom.

Per MetalInjection, the surprise appearance was planned weeks in advance and was organised to assist with the construction of a school in Nigeria.

The nu-metal band would turn up to perform five tracks on stream, including ‘What I’ve Done’, ‘Heavy Is The Crown’, ‘In The End’, ‘The Emptiness Machine’, and ‘Faint’.

You can watch their performance below.

For those unaware, Kai Cenat is one of the largest streamers on Twitch, boasting almost 20 million followers on the platform. On the cusp of reaching one million active subscribers, Cenat announced ‘Mafiathon 3’, a month-long subscriber marathon series devised to help him surpass the milestone. The streamer would also use the opportunity to raise money to build a new school in Nigeria.

Over September, Cenat’s stream would also feature appearances by Mariah Carey, Marlon Wayans, Selena Gomez, and more, who would promote their work and contribute to Cenat’s charity drive.

The Linkin Park appearance wouldn’t be a surprise in hindsight. Two weeks ago, Twitch streamer officedrummer (Richard Ray) would appear on the Mafiathon 3 stream to perform a cover of the band’s song ‘In The End’.

After 27 days, Cenat would reach the one million subscriber mark, becoming the first Twitch streamer in the platform’s history to achieve that milestone. Over 125,000 of these paid subscriptions were reportedly given away by Snoop Dogg, eBay, Crocs, State Farm, and Bose combined.

Cenat would take to social media after reaching the milestone, writing: “STARTING 2025 I WAS A LITTLE LOST AND DIDN’T KNOW HOW IT WAS GONNA GO BUT FAST FORWARD AND NOW IM HERE 1,000,000 SUBS THANK YOU GOD❤️GOAL IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE,”
