LOUD WOMEN Fest returns to Australia this December with a female-focused, trans-inclusive punk, rock, and alt lineup from around the world.
LOUD WOMEN Fest has announced its 2025 Aussie lineup, bringing female-focused, trans-inclusive, and proudly DIY energy to Australian stages for its second iteration in December. The lineup features acts including Bitter Tits, I, Doris, and The Maggie Pills.
Following a sold-out debut last year, the festival will hit Crowbar in Gadigal/Sydney on December 7 and The Bergy Bandroom in Naarm/Melbourne on December 14.
Founded in London in 2015, LOUD WOMEN is a global movement amplifying women, queer, and gender-diverse musicians. The Australian edition continues that mission, spotlighting punk, rock, indie, and alternative artists who stand as a direct challenge to male-dominated lineups across the industry.

The festival’s UK-based house band I, Doris (fronted by LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox) will travel to Australia for their first-ever local shows. Fox has been at the forefront of the movement since its inception, building stages for women and gender-diverse artists rather than waiting for the mainstream to make space.
“Australia has one of the most exciting punk and alternative scenes in the world, and LOUD WOMEN FEST AUSTRALIA proves it,” said Fox. “These lineups are explosive. We are here because equality will not happen by waiting for the mainstream music industry to change. We build our own stages, our own spaces, and our own future.”
Local organisers Soph (R.U.B) and Kate (Second Idol) are once again leading the Australian chapter, working to foster safer, more inclusive spaces for artists and audiences alike. Their work lands at a crucial time – just 7% of this year’s triple j Hottest 100 featured female acts, and only two categories at the 2024 APRA Awards were won by women.
Tickets for both Sydney and Melbourne dates are on sale now via the LOUD WOMEN website.
