Good Things Festival is set to hit the East Coast next month, but fans have noticed that ticket resale on Tixel is currently unavailable.
Good Things Festival is just under a month away, bringing a stacked lineup featuring Tool, Weezer, Garbage, and plenty more to punters in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. However, those looking to sell their tickets, or those wanting to find a bargain are out of luck: resale via Tixel is currently unavailable.
Heading onto any of the event pages on Tixel currently shows the following message: “Resale for this event is currently unavailable. This isn’t our standard setup – please reach out to the organiser if you need more information: [email protected]”
It’s not clear exactly why resale of Good Things tickets have been disabled, or when it might be available again (or at all) – a pretty hefty handful of people appear to be signing up to auto-purchase tickets that crop up for a certain price point while they wait to see.

Some fans are speculating this is to ensure the tickets fully sell out – as of October 5, Good Things Festival was 84% sold for the Melbourne date, 82% for Sydney, and 89% for Brisbane according to the festival’s official Facebook page.
According to some, the festival capped the base sale price on Tixel last year, so this might not be a particularly new move. It certainly looks much better for event organisers to have a fully sold out festival, than one where folks can cop a dime a dozen ticket on resale. At this stage, we don’t have any concrete reasoning as to why this is the case, though.
If you’re looking to cop a Good Things Festival ticket fast, it looks like your only option is to purchase direct right now.
We’ve reached out to representatives for both Tixel and Good Things to find out why (and when we can expect this hold on resale to change), and will update this piece should they respond.
