Assassin’s Creed Shadows Is Getting An Attack On Titan Collab & It’s Releasing Tomorrow

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is receiving a special Attack On Titan collab, featuring a brand new quest and themed outfits and items from the anime.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is about to be invaded by titans in an all-new collab.

Ubisoft announced the in-game collaboration between the stealth action game and the famous anime Attack on Titan earlier today. The event is expected to drop tomorrow (November 26) and is expected to run for four weeks until December 22.

The upcoming update will be free and available to all players, so long as they have unlocked Yasuke as a playable character.

Per a statement, the quest’s synopsis reads:

“A strange encounter draws Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows. Guided by strangely garbed woman named Ada, they venture deep into the enigmatic Crystal Cave to rescue her friend from a mysterious cult.”

“As strange experiments unfold and a monstrous enemy emerge, the duo must rely on their instincts to survive a threat unlike any they’ve faced before.”

Once players complete the quest, they’ll obtain some pretty neat-looking rewards that are themed after the anime. Players will also be able to purchase themed packs available in-store featuring a titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke (making your charge lore accurate), and a Mikasa-inspired outfit for Naoe. Themed weapons and a Survey Corps mount are also available in these packs.

Unrelated to the Attack on Titan content, the update will also include a free story drop, titled “A Puzzlement”. This is mostly just a short, fun slice-of-life piece from the looks of it, but fans who like the chemistry between the two characters will probably enjoy this.

Ubisoft also said that there will also be a new, intricate environmental puzzle that “may reveal some answers players have been seeking”. So lore heads also get to have some fun here.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows released March 20, 2025 on the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It’ll also be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 next week on December 2nd.

On September 16, the game would receive its first expansion with Claws of Awaji, giving players an all-new location to visit and Bô weapons for Naoe.
