VOILÀ are kicking off 2026 with a fresh hit of polished, emotional rock, dropping their new single ‘Frozen Lake’ as they prepare to land in Australia for the very first time.
The ARIA certified Gold duo (Gus Ross and Luke Eisner) have released the track today, describing it as the first taste of their upcoming fifth album, if you’ve followed VOILÀ’s rise, this one fits the pattern: big melody, clean production, and that blend of guitars with electronic detail that’s become their signature.
The band said of the new track (via press release):
“Frozen lake is the icebreaker (pun intended) to our fifth album which bloomed out of our darkest hours. A synthetic blend of guitars and tidy electronic flare underpins the production alongside a lyric & a melody that were both made to be remembered”
VOILÀ’s numbers have been climbing fast, with the duo now sitting at 3 million plus monthly listeners and 600 million plus global streams, with a catalogue reportedly pulling 25 million streams per month. Their fanbase, known as ‘The Magicians’, has grown into a real global community, and Australia has been a major part of that.

Debut tour sells out
VOILÀ’s debut Australian headline run has already become a talking point before a single show has even happened, their first ever Australian tour begins February 8th, and the entire run reportedly sold out in 48 hours.

The duo shared their excitement ahead of the dates:
“By the numbers our second largest listening community in the world is Australia!! BUT we have never been, so we are beyond excited to be pulling out all the stops for the Magicians down under. The fact that this is the fist VOILÀ show for so many is incredibly inspiring. We are bringing the biggest show we’ve ever put on!”
If you missed tickets, you’re not alone, but with this kind of demand, it’s safe to say Australia won’t be waiting long for a return visit.
