Metallica are officially taking over Sphere in Las Vegas this October with a brand new residency titled ‘Life Burns Faster’, built around their now signature No Repeat Weekends format.
After weeks of whispers, Metallica have confirmed they’ll debut the run on October 1st and 3rd, with three additional Thursday/Saturday pairings locked in across the month, as with previous No Repeat Weekends, fans who attend both nights won’t hear the same song twice.
Setlists will pull from across the entire Metallica catalogue, with the band promising the full weight of Sphere’s immersive technology behind it, the venue’s wraparound LED display, precision audio system, and multi sensory production are being framed as a complete reinvention of the live experience.
Whether you’ve watched ‘Master Of Puppets’ from the Snake Pit or the nosebleeds, this is being pitched as something else entirely. Vegas trip anybody?

Metallica described the residency as “completely uncharted territory”, adding they’re “way f**kin’ psyched to go next level”.
