Brady Ebert, formerly of Turnstile, has shared a rare statement urging fans not to support his most recent band, The S.E.T, which ousted him after he made disparaging comments.

Former Turnstile and ex-The S.E.T guitarist Brady Ebert has urged fans not to support The S.E.T after his recent ousting from the hardcore group.

The S.E.T would oust Ebert from the band a month ago, ahead of the release of their debut EP, Self Evident Truth. The group revealed that the decision came about after Ebert had made disparaging comments about his former band Turnstile, after they posted a statement calling for the abolishment of ICE.

Brody would write the following comment on an Instagram post sharing Turnstile’s statement: “Lmao, no one in turnstile cares at all about ethics or social issues in general, they’re just pandering to their audience. “At turnstiles first free show they did they claimed all proceeds go to healthcare for the homeless, we raised 10000 dollars but I watched Brendan steal 4000 dollars from that and claim he needed to ‘pay the merch bill’ which was false.”

Yesterday, Ebert continued his campaign, railing against his former bands by directly asking fans to stop supporting The S.E.T, going as far as to call them a cover band.

“The S.e.t. Ep came out today. Check it out on Spotify or somewhere streaming but dont support the band, as at this point it’s more a cover band than anything,” Ebert would share on his Instagram Story.

“I’m proud of the sound I created and the riffs on that album, as well as the whole art direction and image that I contributed. “

“I’m not normally one to talk on the internet or publicly, as anyone who knows me knows but misinformation and lying are becoming an epidemic in this world”

Brady Ebert would make his debut with the S.E.T in September last year and would quickly announce new tour dates through to January, including Disturbing the Peace Festival.

After leaving The S.E.T, Ebert shared that he’s moved on with his new project titled Experience.
