Avenged Sevenfold Announce 2026 Australia Tour With Coheed and Cambria

Share

Avenged Sevenfold are finally heading back to Australia and New Zealand, it’s been twelve long years.

Believe the rumours because they’re probably all right, Avenged Sevenfold have locked in a 2026 arena tour across Australia and New Zealand, and they’re bringing Coheed and Cambria and Australia’s own Thornhill along for the ride.

If you’ve seen Avenged Sevenfold live before, you already know this won’t be a casual night out, you can expect a full scale production that leans as hard into spectacle as it does into riffs, the run kicks off in Sydney on Friday, October 16th, before tearing through Brisbane and Melbourne, then crossing the ditch to Auckland.

Avenged Sevenfold Australian Australian tour with Coheed and Cambria and Thornhill tour dates

  • Friday, October 16th – Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena
  • Sunday, October 18th – Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
  • Tuesday, October 20th – Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
  • Friday, October 23rd – Auckland, Spark Arena

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 17 at 11am local time, with a stacked lineup of presales running in the days prior. Deathbats Club members get first crack, followed by Mastercard and Live Nation windows.

It’s worth noting the band’s Deathbats Rewards system is central to this rollout, fans can earn access through streaming, merch, and show attendance, then use either a digital wallet or email to secure tickets, it’s a move that rewards the diehards but might leave casual fans scrambling.

Still, demand is going to be brutal, Avenged Sevenfold haven’t touched our shores in over a decade, and the addition of Coheed and Thornhill only sweetens the deal.

Final word

Avenged Sevenfold don’t do quiet returns, after 12 years away, this feels less like a tour announcement and more like a reset button for their connection with Aussie fans. The tech experiment around ticketing might divide people, but one thing’s locked in, when those lights drop, none of that will matter.
