18 months on from the release of their 11th album The Sky, the Earth & All Between, Architects are gearing up to release a new single in less than a week.
The veteran UK band shared a clip to their social media yesterday (September 10th), which confirms that their next single will be titled ‘Machine’ and is slated for release on Tuesday, September 16th. Only part of what is presumably the song’s intro can be heard, set to dystopic sci-fi imagery and a woman emerging from a vat of black water.
At the time of writing, it is unknown as to whether ‘Machine’ will serve as a stand-alone single for the band or be part of their next studio album. Watch the teaser for the new single and its accompanying video below:
The Sky, the Earth & All Between has proven to be one of the most successful albums of Architects’ career since it was released in February 2025. It peaked at number two on the UK albums chart, and also reached the top 10 in Germany, Austria, France, Scotland, Australia and Switzerland.
The album was flanked by the release of several singles ranging back from ‘Seeing Red’ in December of 2023 to ‘Broken Mirror’ in early January. The latter topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart last month, the second single of theirs to do so behind the album’s fifth single ‘Everything Ends’.
The band have continued to tour extensively in support of the album – including a headling tour of Australia back in December, with support from House of Protection and the debut local shows for President.
Next month, Architects will embark on a European tour as main support for Korn; they will be joined by Youth Code and Pixel Grip as part of the bill.
This will take the band through to the end of November and mark their final shows of 2026. Following its conclusion, the next scheduled Architects performance is as part of the Leyendas del Rock festival line-up in Spain next August.
