Evanescence have shared a behind the scenes look at the creation of their latest music video for “Who Will You Follow”, giving fans fresh insight into one of the band’s most ambitious visual releases in years.
The newly released footage offers a glimpse into the making of the cinematic clip directed by Jensen Noen, which explores the chaotic collision of technology, misinformation and digital overload, through striking visuals and emotionally charged performance shots, the video reflects the song’s central message about authenticity and truth in an increasingly distorted online world.

The track has already marked a major milestone for the band, becoming the fastest moving rock radio single of Evanescence’s career and earning their first ever No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Songs chart (per Blabbermouth).
Serving as a preview of the band’s forthcoming album “Sanctuary”, due June 5th, the song was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish.
Frontwoman Amy Lee opened up about the record’s emotional significance, saying:
“This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”

The album will arrive across multiple formats, including digital, CD, deluxe CD, limited-edition box set and a double vinyl edition arriving later this year, to support the release, Evanescence are gearing up for an expansive 2026 world tour, kicking off June 11th, with support from Spiritbox, Nova Twins, Poppy and K.Flay across select dates.
If “Who Will You Follow” is any indication, Sanctuary could mark one of the most compelling chapters in Evanescence’s next era.
