Live performance video for Global Warming
Adding to the celebration, Gojira have also dropped a live performance video for Global Warming, captured in Lyon, France on December 10th, 2025.
Check it out below:
The footage is particularly significant for dedicated followers of the band, as it documents one of the few times the track has ever been performed live, in fact Global Warming has only been played around a dozen times, all of those performances taking place during late 2025 (per Lambgoat).
The performance also saw an unexpected lineup shift, with Car Bomb guitarist Greg Kubacki stepping in on guitar while frontman Joe Duplantier focused solely on vocal duties due to injury, the band noted the unusual nature of the performance, describing it as “a rare one.”
For many fans, Global Warming remains one of the emotional centrepieces of From Mars To Sirius, encapsulating the environmental urgency and spiritual intensity that made the record such a landmark release.
The anniversary package gives the album the treatment many believe it has long deserved, arriving as Gojira continue to solidify their place among modern metal’s most respected acts, twenty years on ‘From Mars To Sirius‘ still sounds as urgent, visionary and crushingly relevant as ever,, and this new edition offers the perfect excuse to revisit one of metal’s true masterpieces.
