Ocean Sleeper are wasting absolutely no time capitalising on the momentum behind their crushing new era, announcing a massive Australian headline run for September alongside an equally stacked support lineup.
Fresh off unveiling their punishing new single ‘Break The Cycle’ and signing with Rise Records/BMG, the Gippsland heavyweights have locked in the ‘Peace When I’m Dead Tour’, bringing NEVERTEL, Vanna and Outloved along for the ride.
The tour kicks off in Sydney before hitting Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne across September, with venues scaling up alongside the band’s rapidly growing audience.

For Ocean Sleeper, it feels like the payoff to years of relentless grinding through Australia’s heavy scene without the backing or shortcuts a lot of newer bands rely on, that hunger was all over ‘Break The Cycle’, a track the band recently described as reflecting their struggle to break beyond Australia as an independent act.
“It’s fast paced, heavier than before, while still keeping the emotional depth with one of our biggest choruses to date,” the band said when the single dropped earlier this month.
“We instantly knew this song was going to be something special.”
The track marked the first release since Ocean Sleeper signed with Rise Records and BMG, a major step for a band that’s steadily built one of the most emotionally resonant catalogues in Australian metalcore over the past decade.
Now, with bigger international opportunities opening up and their sound hitting harder than ever, the upcoming tour feels less like another local run and more like a band stepping fully into the next level of their career.
Adding NEVERTEL and Vanna into the mix only pushes the lineup further into must see territory for heavy music fans.
