Swedish metalcore quartet thrown are back with another dose of unfiltered heaviness, dropping their latest single “critic” via Arising Empire.

Stockholm outfit thrown take aim at online outrage, unsolicited opinions and the culture of manufactured controversy across the track, turning the constant stream of criticism into fuel for something considerably heavier.

“critic” follows a rapid rise for thrown, who have established themselves as one of modern metalcore’s most talked about emerging acts since forming in Stockholm.

Their debut EP EXTENDED PAIN surpassed 50 million streams and spent close to a year in Spotify’s Global Metal Top 200. Their debut album EXCESSIVE GUILT subsequently pushed the band onto an even bigger international stage.
