Trophy Eyes Announce ‘Chemical Miracle’ 10 Year Anniversary Tour

Trophy Eyes are heading back to where one of their most important records began.

Newcastle rockers Trophy Eyes have announced a special Australian tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their seminal 2016 album Chemical Miracle, with the band set to perform the record in full across four dates later this year.

The anniversary celebrations will also include a new Chemical Miracle 10 Year Anniversary Edition LP, arriving November 13th via Hopeless Records.

Chemical Miracle

Released in 2016, Chemical Miracle helped cement Trophy Eyes as one of Australia’s standout melodic punk and rock acts. The album paired huge melodies and raw energy with the kind of brutally personal songwriting that made its songs resonate well beyond the band’s Newcastle roots.

Now, a decade later, Trophy Eyes will revisit the album from beginning to end for a handful of very special Australian shows.

John Floreani reflected on what the record has come to mean to the band and its fans:

“Ten years.
It’s difficult to put into words what Chemical Miracle has come to mean to us. When we wrote it, we were just trying to make sense of where we were in our lives. We never imagined those songs would find a place in so many other people’s stories too.

To mark the anniversary, we’re releasing a special Chemical Miracle 10-Year Anniversary Edition record on 13th November – a chance to revisit some of your favourite songs, as you’ve never heard before.

We’ll be celebrating with a handful of Australian shows, playing the album from beginning to end. As a thank you, an exclusive vinyl variant will be available ahead of its release at these shows.

We don’t get to celebrate milestones like this without you. Thank you for giving this record a life far beyond what we ever expected.

We can’t wait to experience it together again.”
