Crash Test Dummies are heading back to Australia in April 2027, this time digging through their entire catalogue for a six-date Greatest Hits Tour.
Canadian alternative rock veterans Crash Test Dummies were only here last year, playing their breakthrough 1993 album ‘God Shuffled His Feet’ in full to sold-out crowds, rather than repeating the exercise, their next Australian run will crack the catalogue wide open.
That means ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’, ‘Superman’s Song’, ‘Afternoons & Coffeespoons’, ‘The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead’ and ‘God Shuffled His Feet’ are all expected to make appearances alongside deeper cuts from across the band’s career.
For anyone who caught that last tour, it gives the return a genuine reason to exist beyond another lap around the nostalgia circuit.

Crash Test Dummies Open The Vault
Crash Test Dummies emerged from Winnipeg in the late ’80s, but it was 1991 debut ‘The Ghosts That Haunt Me’ and ‘Superman’s Song’ that first pushed the band towards an international audience.
Two years later, ‘God Shuffled His Feet’ turned them into a global alternative oddity.
At the centre of it all was Brad Roberts and that cavernous baritone, ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’ became their defining hit, but the band’s strange collision of folk rock, alternative pop and dry storytelling always gave them considerably more personality than the one hit wonder tag sometimes thrown their way.

More than three decades later, that catalogue is precisely what the Greatest Hits Tour is built to celebrate.
The Australian run begins at Brisbane’s Tivoli on April 2nd before visiting Tweed Heads, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, wrapping up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on April 14th.
