Post Malone has postponed his October 2026 Australian tour and withdrawn from all three Strummingbird festival dates.
Post Malone will no longer return to Australia this October as planned, with his 2026 stadium tour postponed and his headline appearances at Strummingbird removed from the festival lineup.
Strummingbird organisers confirmed on Thursday that the US superstar’s upcoming Australia and Asia dates have been postponed. No replacement Australian stadium dates have been announced, and no official reason has been given for the change.
BLUNT announced the Australian stadium tour in May, when Post Malone locked in what was billed as the biggest Australian headline run of his career, with Don Toliver joining the Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney shows.

What Happens To Post Malone Tickets?
Tickets for Post Malone’s standalone headline shows will no longer be valid and are being automatically refunded to the original payment method. Current advice to ticketholders puts the refund processing window at approximately 14 to 21 days, depending on the bank.
Strummingbird is continuing without Post Malone. Festival ticketholders who no longer wish to attend the revised event can request a refund through Moshtix, with the current refund window closing at 5pm AEST on Thursday September 3.
Who Is Replacing Post Malone At Strummingbird?
Tyler Childers, Sam Barber and Australian country artist James Johnston have been added to the Strummingbird lineup following Post Malone’s withdrawal.
Post Malone had been due to headline the festival in Ballarat, Newcastle and on the Sunshine Coast alongside a bill featuring Bailey Zimmerman, Cooper Alan, Brad Cox, Cam, Sons Of The East and others.
The postponement comes less than two months before the Australian run was due to begin. Post Malone last toured Australia in 2023, playing sold-out arena dates and appearing at Spilt Milk.
At this stage, the Australian dates remain officially postponed rather than cancelled. BLUNT will update the story if replacement dates or further details are announced.
