PRESIDENT have officially released their debut album ‘Blood Of Your Empire’, bringing the first major chapter of the mysterious UK collective into full view.
The record is out today, September 4th, via Atlantic Records, arriving the same day PRESIDENT launch their first ever headline tour.
For a band that has spent much of its short existence hiding behind minimalism, anonymity and carefully rationed information, Blood Of Your Empire is the most substantial look yet at what PRESIDENT actually want to say.
The album tackles belief, mortality and the contradictions sitting inside organised faith.
‘Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith,’ PRESIDENT explain.
‘Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths.’
That conflict sits at the centre of the record’s identity, with PRESIDENT describing the writing process as a way of confronting long held fear, confusion and uncertainty.
PRESIDENT Continue Building The Myth
Since emerging last year, PRESIDENT have leaned heavily into obscurity.
Rather than pushing individual personalities to the front, the group have kept focus on the material itself, allowing songs like ‘Angel Wings’, ‘DOOM LOOP’, ‘dark heaven’ and ‘Mercy’ to do the heavy lifting.

The artwork pushes that idea further, using Eugène Delacroix’s The Battle of Poitiers, a painting housed in the Louvre.
The debut also lands after PRESIDENT’s first full US tour supporting Bad Omens, with the band now moving into sold-out headline territory across North America.
