Bullet For My Valentine Announce New Album ‘Social Apocalypse’

Bullet For My Valentine have officially announced their eighth studio album, Social Apocalypse, ending the wait for the follow-up to their 2021 self-titled record.

The Welsh metalcore veterans will release Social Apocalypse on March 19th, 2027 via Spinefarm, with the band also unveiling the album’s title track alongside an accompanying music video.

The announcement follows months of updates surrounding the record. Earlier this year, drummer Jason Bowld revealed that he had finished tracking his parts and the band were aiming to complete the album by June, with an early 2027 release originally being targeted.

Now we know exactly what Bullet For My Valentine have been working towards.

Social Apocalypse will feature 10 tracks, including two collaborations that should immediately grab the attention of heavy music fans. Against The Current vocalist Chrissy Costanza appears on In The Absence Of You, while Lorna Shore frontman Will Ramos joins Bullet on I Don’t Trust Tomorrow.

The record marks Bullet For My Valentine’s first full-length release in more than five years, their self-titled seventh album arrived in 2021 and saw the band lean hard into the heavier end of their sound after 2018’s Gravity.

The new era arrives following a particularly busy period for the band, including celebrations marking 20 years of their landmark debut album, The Poison. Bullet For My Valentine toured Australia last October as part of those anniversary celebrations.

Attention now turns firmly towards Social Apocalypse, with its title track providing the first official taste of what Matt Tuck, Michael “Padge” Paget, Jamie Mathias and Jason Bowld have assembled for album number eight.
