Cancer Bats Announce 2027 Australian Tour With Heriot And Two BAT FEST Events

Cancer Bats are turning their Froth & Fury visit into a nine-show Australian run, with curated BAT FEST bills in Melbourne and on the Sunshine Coast.

Cancer Bats have announced nine Australian performances for January and February 2027, bringing Heriot along for a tour that includes two mini-festivals programmed by the band and event promoter Destroy All Lines.

The Canadian hardcore veterans’ Give Me Dirt Australian tour runs from January 28 to February 7, taking in their previously announced Froth & Fury appearance alongside headline shows and the new BAT FEST events.

According to Destroy All Lines’ announcement, Heriot will appear on every date except Perth. Presale for the newly announced shows begins Monday, October 12, with general sale following Wednesday, October 14.

BAT FEST gives Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast a different version of the tour. Both editions pair Cancer Bats and Heriot with Mannequin Death Squad and Totally Unicorn, putting Australian acts alongside the two international bands.

Melbourne’s event takes over the Corner Hotel on January 31, with Blood Oath also joining the bill. The Sunshine Coast edition closes the tour at Kings Beach Tavern on February 7 and includes an opening slot for a local competition winner. Destroy All Lines lists an additional special guest still to be announced for each event.

The wider run builds on a booking BLUNT covered in Froth & Fury’s second line-up announcement, when Cancer Bats and Heriot joined the Adelaide festival’s bill. Both will perform at Adelaide Showground on January 30.

The promoter bills this as Cancer Bats’ first Australian visit since 2024, supporting Give Me Dirt with a set also drawing on their earlier catalogue. Heriot arrive supporting their debut album, Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell.

Heriot will not appear in Perth.
