Sleep Theory’s new ‘Giving In’ video sees frontman Cullen Moore repeatedly dig his own grave. Meanwhile, the band’s first Australian headline tour is prompting bigger venues and extra shows.
Out today, ‘Giving In’ is Sleep Theory‘s first original music since their 2025 debut album Afterglow. Directed by Lewis Cater, the clip follows Moore as he attacks and buries another version of himself, climbs out of the dirt and starts again.
There’s no clean escape. Dark figures close in, pulling him back towards the same vice, while a graveyard full of disturbed earth makes the song’s subject hard to miss: the exhausting cycle of addiction.
Moore brings his R&B roots to the verses, while the guitars hit harder around him. Guitarist Daniel Pruitt adds harsh vocals during the bridge, giving the song some bite without losing its melody.
Alongside Moore and Pruitt, the band features bassist Paolo Vergara and drummer Benjamin Pruitt. Since Afterglow, they’ve released covers and revisited songs from their earlier Paper Hearts EP.
