Ice Cube and Mike Epps are bringing their Friday chemistry to Listen & Laugh, a new podcast with Dr. Dre, Bill Burr and The Game among the guests teased in its first trailer.
Released on October 30th, the preview introduces a conversation series built around the pair’s friendship, with a porch setting that nods to the films where audiences first met Craig and Day-Day. According to XXL, the guest lineup also includes Lil Dicky, Benny Blanco, T.I., Cedric the Entertainer and former NBA player Jalen Rose.
Cube and Epps first worked together on Next Friday in 2000, playing cousins Craig and Day-Day, before returning for Friday After Next two years later. More than two decades on, that relationship gives them plenty to work with as hosts, particularly when they start taking shots at each other.
The trailer gets there quickly. Epps claims they’re sitting on the original Friday porch, prompting Cube to correct him: the set takes its cues from the film, but it isn’t the same location.
It’s a small exchange that makes the connection to their screen partnership without either of them slipping back into character.

Dr. Dre And Regina King Join The Guest Lineup
Regina King, who played Craig’s sister Dana in the original Friday, also appears in the preview, alongside Stephen A. Smith, Dana White and Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr. Elsewhere, Epps finds material in Dre’s work with Eminem, while guests get their own jokes in about Cube’s gangster-rap image.
The show’s official description leaves room for more personal conversations too, covering relationships, career breaks and life away from the public eye. Its pitch for the hosts is straightforward: “Cube’s gonna make you listen and Epps is gonna make you laugh.”
Episodes are scheduled for Fridays at 6pm ET/3pm PT on YouTube and podcast platforms, making it a Saturday morning release for Australian audiences. The official podcast feed currently lists the trailer; a premiere date for the first full episode has yet to be confirmed.
