Dixxon And Hatebreed Celebrate 20 Years Of ‘Supremacy’ With Limited Edition Flannel

Share

Hatebreed’s landmark album gets the Dixxon treatment, with a limited edition flannel inspired by 20 years of ‘Supremacy’.

Twenty years after Hatebreed released Supremacy, the metalcore heavyweights are marking the anniversary with a limited-edition collaboration with Dixxon Flannel Co.

The special release takes the visual identity of the 2006 album and turns it into a wearable piece, with the Pantone colours from Supremacy’s artwork reworked into the flannel’s plaid pattern.

Hatebreed’s unmistakable fiery logo features throughout the design, appearing on the front pocket, linen lens cloth and buttons in Dixxon’s signature style.

A record about overcoming

Released in 2006, Supremacy was Hatebreed’s fourth studio album and arrived during a period when the band were becoming one of the defining forces in modern hardcore and metalcore.

The album tackled themes of overcoming “feelings of depression, anxiety, and alienation.” That directness connected with listeners, with one reviewer describing Hatebreed’s approach as offering “a rare commodity: honesty.”

That sense of confronting adversity head on became central to the record’s impact, with Supremacy continuing to hold a significant place in the band’s catalogue two decades after its release.

Now, its artwork and identity have been given a fresh life through Dixxon’s latest collaboration.

Limited edition release

The Supremacy flannel is being released as a one time, super limited drop, with the collaboration expected to sell out.

Adult sizing is available in both men’s and women’s ranges for US$59.99 (approx. $84.74 AUD), while youth sizing is priced at US$29.99 (approx. $42.22 AUD).

Given the deliberately restricted quantity, fans wanting to add the collaboration to their collection will need to move quickly.

The collaboration offers Hatebreed fans a way to mark two decades of Supremacy beyond simply returning to the record itself, it takes one of the band’s most recognisable album eras and turns its visual identity into a piece of everyday gear.

The Hatebreed Supremacy Flannel is available now through Dixxon here.
