Sleeping With Sirens Bring the Heat at Good Things Festival Sideshow

Share

Ahead of their much-anticipated Good Things Festival 2024 appearances this weekend, Sleeping With Sirens took over Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Tuesday, 3 December, for an electrifying sideshow performance.

Blunt’s own James Miller was on hand to capture every moment, delivering a gallery that perfectly encapsulates the energy and passion of the night.

The band, known for their genre-defying blend of post-hardcore, emo, and rock, treated fans to a 15-song setlist spanning their career. Highlights included fan favourites like ‘If You Can’t Hang’ and ‘Kick Me’, alongside a stunning acoustic rendition of ‘With Ears to See, and Eyes to Hear’. They even threw in a heartfelt cover of The Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Iris’, showcasing their softer side amidst the high-octane set.

This intimate gig comes as a warm-up for Good Things Festival 2024, kicking off in Melbourne on Friday, 6 December, followed by stops in Sydney on Saturday and Brisbane on Sunday. With a lineup featuring KornSum 41Mastodon, and more, Good Things has cemented its reputation as Australia’s premier destination for rock, metal, and alternative fans. Sleeping With Sirens are set to perform alongside heavyweights like NorthlaneElectric Callboy, and Bowling For Soup, bringing their signature mix of emotional anthems and powerful breakdowns to the festival stage.

For fans at the Factory Theatre, this was a chance to see the band up close and personal—an experience that contrasted the massive festival stages they’ll hit this weekend. The raw energy of the night was palpable, with the crowd erupting for classics like ‘Tally It Up, Settle the Score’ and ‘Do It Now Remember It Later’.

Stay tuned for our full Good Things Festival coverage, but for now, dive into James Miller’s stunning shots of Sleeping With Sirens at their Factory Theatre sideshow.
