Anthony Green told a fan not to bring their six-week-old baby to his show, offering to reimburse their tickets.
Anthony Green (L.S. Dunes) is currently out on a solo tour with Geoff Rickly of Thursday and Kurt Travis of Royal Coda. Ahead of an upcoming date, a fan reached out on social media explaining that they hoped to attend but were facing a childcare issue.
The fan wrote on an Instagram post: “(hopefully) seeing u next Friday. My husband & I have tickets but my childcare fell thru. Waiting to see if the venue will let me wear my 6 week old baby lol. I have noise cancelling headphones for her.”
Green, who is a father himself, replied directly and asked the fan not to bring the newborn to the show, going as far as to offer to pay them back for the tickets. “Please don’t worry about the show. And just stay home with your baby,” he said.
“Shows that my level are pretty gross and are no place for a six week old regardless of the headphones just breathing in all the people’s air. It scares me. I’ll reimburse you if you need to. I’m sorry to say this and I hope it doesn’t bum you out. I plan on living for 1000 years so they will be many more shows I promise don’t sweat this one.”

The exchange sparked discussion among fans, many of whom praised Green for putting the baby’s health first. Live shows, particularly in small venues, are often loud, crowded, and filled with secondhand smoke with poor air circulation (read: germs), all of which aren’t the greatest for adults, let along newborns.
Green’s solo tour continues alongside Rickly and Travis, giving fans plenty of opportunities to catch him onstage in the future – sans baby, of course.
