Evanescence’s 2026 Australian Tour Appears To Have Leaked Early

Share

A listing on Australian merch retailer Merch Jungle appears to reference a forthcoming Evanescence Australia and New Zealand tour before any official announcement has been made.

Evanescence may be heading back to Australia sooner than expected, with what appears to be an early tour reveal surfacing through an Australian merch retailer.

As first spotted by the Rock ‘n’ Metal Music News Australia Facebook page, the band’s new album pre-order campaign on Merch Jungle includes wording offering Australian and New Zealand fans early access to tickets for a “forthcoming (to be announced) Australia & New Zealand tour.”

The message appears directly on listings for Evanescence’s upcoming album ‘Sanctuary’, stating:

“Australia/New Zealand: Pre-order the new album ‘Sanctuary’ (in any configuration) by June 5 to receive early access to tickets for the bands forthcoming (to be announced) Australia & New Zealand tour!”

Importantly, this isn’t appearing through some random reseller or unofficial retailer. Merch Jungle is a Sydney-based Australian merch company connected to Jungle Merchandise, which has operated within Australia’s touring and artist merchandise space for years.

That makes this feel less like vague placeholder text and more like genuine tour pre-sale infrastructure surfacing ahead of schedule.

The wording itself also reads operational rather than promotional. Album bundles tied to ticket pre-sale access are standard rollout mechanics typically used once touring plans are already in motion internally.

If confirmed, the run would mark Evanescence’s first proper Australian headline tour since their 2023 ‘Fallen’ anniversary shows, which saw the band play arena dates around the country.

The band did return to Australia in 2025 as part of Metallica’s M72 stadium tour, alongside a small number of intimate headline sideshows. However, those dates were attached to the Metallica run rather than a full standalone Evanescence headline tour cycle.

At the time of publishing, neither Evanescence nor any Australian promoter has officially announced 2026 tour dates.

Still, between the geo-targeted Australia/New Zealand wording, the ticket pre-sale language, and the fact it surfaced through an established Australian merch partner, this strongly suggests an announcement could be imminent.
