Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke Revisits 2012 Mic Stand Incident With Inflatable Stunt at Warped Tour

Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke threw inflatable mic stands into the Warped Tour crowd in what seems to be a reference to his 2012 assault charges.

Ronnie Radke used Falling in Reverse’s set at Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach over the weekend to revisit a notorious moment in his career with a twist. The singer was seen throwing mic stands into the crowd during the band’s set, but unlike the 2012 incident that saw him charged with assault, the stands this time were inflatable.

Early in Falling In Reverse’s set, Radke paused to speak to the crowd before looking offstage and saying, “Bring the mic stands out.”

He joked about how dropping a mic stand is rare for him, but when it does happen, he just gives them to the crowd. Moments later, he tossed several inflatable mic stands into the audience.

Check out a video of the moment below:

The performance seems to be a self-aware nod to the 2012 FestEvil show at Six Flags Great Adventure, where Radke threw four actual mic stands into the crowd, injuring two fans. Following the incident, a Six Flags spokesperson said, “This was the first metal show that we’ve ever had and will be the last. We have no plans to host another metal show.”

“This performer [Radke] was completely reckless. He had complete disregard for the safety of his fans. His actions were totally unacceptable. It’s not the type of entertainment that we want to be producing.”

Radke was arrested and later released on bail. In 2020, he addressed the incident on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “I’ve actually never apologised for the micstand event,” claiming in a deleted tweet that an injured fan “got almost a million dollars for a tiny ass cut.”

Falling in Reverse’s Warped Tour set was one of many over the weekend with standout moments, references to nostalgia in the scene (albeit in this situation, a not-so-positive memory to throw back to), and surprise special guest appearances.
