Froth & Fury Fest is officially heading to Perth in 2025, marking its first expansion outside of Adelaide.
Froth & Fury Fest, South Australia’s premier heavy music and beer bash, is officially heading west. Organisers announced this week that the cult event will expand into Perth in 2025, marking the first time the chaos-laced festival will take place outside of Adelaide.
The Perth edition will be delivered in partnership with Soundworks Touring, with dates for both cities still to be announced. “Froth & Fury is all about community, intensity, and a shared love of live music,” said festival organiser Anita Decoster. “Perth has an incredible scene, and we can’t wait to bring the full Froth experience west.”
“Western Australia has been crying out for a heavy / alternative music festival,” added Perth organiser Brad Wesson, “and we’re pumped to finally bring Froth & Fury to the West.”
Launched in 2021 during the COVID pandemic, Froth & Fury Fest has grown into a standout of the national festival circuit. What began as a 23-band local showcase across two days at Pirate Life Brewing has since exploded into a three-stage, 4000-capacity beast taking over the streets of Port Adelaide.
Now held at the historic Harts Mill, the event is a handcrafted celebration of underground heavy, punk, hardcore, stoner, sludge and doom – backed by craft beer, food trucks, tattoos, and a deeply loyal fanbase. Over the years, it’s hosted the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, The Butterfly Effect, Void of Vision, King Parrot, and Ocean Grove.
More than just a party, Froth & Fury is a pointed response to the lack of heavy festivals stopping in Adelaide.
Presented by Disruptive Productions, the festival is supported by the South Australian Tourism Commission, Music Development Office, Port Adelaide Enfield Council and a crew of local legends. With Perth now officially on board, Froth & Fury’s handcrafted chaos is going national to some severely underserved states.
Stay tuned for 2025 lineup and date announcements.
