Get On Kneecap’s WhatsApp, They’re About To Drop New Music

Share

The lads in Kneecap are back on it, and they’ve just announced a new track is dropping next week.

In true Kneecap fashion, they didn’t go all corporate rollout or influencer teaser — they just posted a fire emoji, a call to arms, and a WhatsApp link. It’s no song title. No fluff. Just: “We’ve a brand new tune out next week that’s 🔥.”

This is the first taste of new music from the Belfast crew since their Fine Art era cracked open the wider world’s skull and poured in a mix of Gaeilge, grim humour, hard beats, and political chaos. And from the way they’re hyping this one — “yis don’t wanna miss this one” — it sounds like whatever’s coming is ready to blow the fuck up.

The boys are keeping it close to the chest for now, but the tune will land first in their WhatsApp channel before it hits anywhere else. Yes, WhatsApp. That’s where we’re at now. If you want to hear it early, you’ve got to opt into the chaos directly. Forget the algorithm, Kneecap are bypassing the usual channels and going straight to the people.

And they’re not being subtle about it either: “Once it lands share it on ta fuck ✊🏼.”

It’s peak Kneecap — political but playful, local but global, and always just a little bit feral. If you’ve been anywhere near their live shows lately, you’ll know they’re sitting on a pile of unreleased material that’s already been tested on moshpits. This might be the start of a bigger push — or just another banger dropped to cause a bit of noise before they tear into another tour.

Either way, you’re gonna want to be there when it hits.

Join the WhatsApp via their bio, and prepare to get slapped by whatever they’ve cooked up this time.
