Good Charlotte are returning to Australia in February for the Motel Du Cap World Tour – here’s how to get tickets.
Good Charlotte are officially making their long-awaited return to Australia, announcing their Motel Du Cap World Tour – the band’s first shows down under in eight years. The multi-platinum pop-punk icons will hit Perth, Brisbane, Bendigo, and Sydney this February, celebrating both a new album and nearly three decades of anthems that defined a generation.
The tour was reported earlier today via the Bendigo Advertiser, but now the band and presenters themselves have officially confirmed the dates – and how (and where) to get tickets.
Presented by Untitled Group, Good Charlotte’s Motel Du Cap tour marks the beginning of the band’s global comeback and the release of their eighth studio album of the same name. Expect a mix of fresh material and fan-favourite classics like ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & the Famous’, ‘The Anthem’, ‘Little Things’, and ‘I Just Wanna Live’.
“Australia is such a special place to Good Charlotte and to me personally, it feels like a home away from home in many ways, and we can’t wait to head back there for some big shows,” said frontman Joel Madden. “It’s been far too long since we’ve spent time with our Aussie fans, we’re all in for a big treat.”
Joining the band on their run of shows are Yellowcard and Kisschasy (the NZ date will only include Yellowcard).

Formed by brothers Joel and Benji Madden, alongside Paul Thomas and Billy Martin, Good Charlotte have been a defining force in alternative music for over two decades. Motel Du Cap comes six years after their last release, Generation X, and was born out of a serendipitous moment: a private 2022 gig at France’s iconic Hotel du Cap that reignited the band’s creative spark. The experience inspired both the new album and the tour’s name, reflecting a renewed sense of passion and freedom in their songwriting.
Good Charlotte were last on Australian stages in 2018 for Download Festival and a series of headline shows that reminded fans just how powerful their live presence remains. Now, the band are ready to do it all over again.
