INGESTED have postponed their Asia and Australia tour “for the sake of not only [their] health, but the integrity of the show.”
UK death metal outfit INGESTED have announced they’re postponing their upcoming tour of Asia and Australia, citing personal and logistical issues following a heavy year of touring.
In a statement shared on social media, the band said:
“With heavy hearts, we must announce the postponement of our upcoming Asia & Australia tour.
Over the past few months, we’ve done everything we can behind the scenes to prepare for our tour of Asia and Australia. But after an intense year of nonstop touring across the globe, some unforeseen personal and logistical circumstances have forced us to hit pause.
This is not a decision we take lightly, we’ve never had to do this before, however for the sake of not only our health, but the integrity of the show, we’ve decided to postpone these dates.
These shows are not cancelled, they are being rescheduled, and we’re already working hard to lock in new dates that we’ll announce as soon as possible. All purchased tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.
The Cold Day Festival in Brisbane will still be going ahead however the festival will be offering refunds upon request.
We want to thank everyone who was instrumental in putting this tour together: our agents, promoters, venues, and most importantly, every single one of you who bought a ticket and supported us.
We’re gutted, but we’ll be back.
Much love,
INGESTED”
Originally slated to hit several cities across Asia and Australia across July, the tour was one of INGESTED’s most anticipated international runs of the year.
While the postponement is a blow to fans hoping to catch INGESTED live this year, fans across Asia and Australia can rest assured that when the band return, it’ll be with the intensity and commitment they’re known for.
