Secret Lair has teamed up with Iron Maiden for two new Magic: The Gathering drops arriving as part of the Secret Scare Superdrop on October 13.
Magic: The Gathering’s next Secret Lair Superdrop is leaning heavy on the spooky season, but the big news is that Iron Maiden are officially part of the next collection. Two different drops featuring the band’s unmistakable visuals will be included in the Secret Scare Superdrop, available in limited quantities from October 13 at 9am PT.
First up is Secret Lair x Iron Maiden: Album Art, which translates some of the band’s iconic imagery into six Magic: The Gathering cards. Prices are $29.99 USD for non-foil and $39.99 USD for rainbow foil. The set includes:
- 1x Lethal Scheme
- 1x Grave Titan
- 1x Animate Dead
- 1x Temporal Tresspass
- 1x Unearth
- 1x Lignify
Then there’s Secret Lair x Iron Maiden: Eddie Unchained, which gives the band’s mascot his moment in the spotlight. Like the album art drop, this one comes in at $29.99 USD non-foil and $39.99 USD rainbow foil. Here’s the list of what’s included:
- 1x Bruvac the Grandiloquent as “Eddie the Judge”
- 1x Windfall
- 1x Captain N’ghathrod as “Eddie, Ghost of the Navigator”
- 1x Nekusar, the Mindrazer as “Eddie, Lord of Light”
- 1x Iron Maiden
- 1x Mindcrank
The upcoming Superdrop also comes with a promo deal. For every $199 spent on Secret Scare Superdrop products, fans will receive one rainbow foil ‘Cryptic Command’ promo card while supplies last. Free shipping is also available on single orders over $99, though conditions apply.
The full Superdrop includes more than just Iron Maiden – with The Office and Furby in the mix – but it’s safe to say these two sets will be the main draw for anyone who wants to combine their love of heavy music with a little Magic: The Gathering.
Everything goes live October 13 at 9am PT (that’s 2am AEST for Aussies), but quantities are limited, so if you’re keen to add Eddie to your arsenal, it’s worth marking the date.
