Kneecap Unleash Tour Supports for Sold-Out Aussie & NZ Run

Share

Belfast’s own Kneecap are about to tear through Australia and New Zealand, and they’re bringing some serious heat with them. With every single date already sold out, the rap trio have announced a stacked lineup of support acts.

Joining them across various dates are Naarm-based First Nations powerhouse Miss Kaninna (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydey), rising Perth talent Kayps (Perth), and reo rua rapper Swizl Jager (NZ). Each of the acts bring their own hard-hitting energy to an already chaotic run.

Kneecap—Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí—kick things off in Wellington at Meow Nui on March 5. They will then play Auckland the following night. Then it’s over to Melbourne for a three-night stretch at 170 Russell (March 10, 13, and 14), before ripping into Brisbane’s Triffid (March 12). They will then venture to Sydney’s UNSW Roundhouse (March 15), and close things out at Fremantle’s Metropolis on March 17.

On top of that, Kneecap will hit the stage at Dermot Kennedy presents MISNEACH in Sydney on March 16. The lineup features an electric mix including The Frames, Matt Corby, Meg Mac, The Scratch, and more.

Meet the Supports

Miss Kaninna: A force of nature, Miss Kaninna has been on a rapid rise since her 2023 debut ‘Blak Britney’. The proud Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon, and Yirendali artist isn’t just making music—she’s making a statement. Fusing hip hop, neo-soul, and R&B, she’s got the charisma and ferocity to command any stage.

Swizl Jager: A bilingual Māori rapper with a sharp wit and sharper flow, Swizl Jager brings his metal-infused energy to Wellington and Auckland. With credits across NZ film and TV, and a growing reputation for rowdy live sets, he’s got the bars and stage presence to back it all up.

Kayps: At just 18, Broome-born, Perth-based Kayps is already a name to know. Part of the ‘6K’ movement, his hard work and undeniable talent have landed him on major stages, from SXSW Sydney to opening for Denzel Curry. Expect nothing less than high-energy precision when he steps up.

With Kneecap’s satirical yet brutally raw lyricism leading the charge, this tour is set to be one of 2025’s most chaotic, loud, and unfiltered live experiences. If you didn’t snag a ticket, too bad—every date is already sold out.
