Linkin Park’s New Album Debuts at No. 1 on the Global Charts

Linkin Park are back at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart. Their new album, From Zero has debuted at No. 1, marking the band’s first release in seven years. This latest milestone continues their unbroken streak of success in Australia, where every one of their studio albums has landed in the Top 3.

From Zero joins previous chart-toppers like Hybrid Theory (2000), Minutes to Midnight (2007), and A Thousand Suns (2010). The album’s success isn’t limited to Australia either—it has also debuted at No. 1 in several other countries, including the UK, Germany, France and many more.

The band unveiled the album during a special LP Underground show on September 5. The performance introduced two new members: Emily Armstrong as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain as drummer, replacing founding member Rob Bourdon. This show marked Linkin Park’s first live appearance since 2017. The event carried emotional weight, as fans and band members reflected on the absence of Chester Bennington, who passed away in July 2017.

With From Zero, Linkin Park deliver a bold new chapter while staying true to their roots. The album blends fresh sounds with the energy and emotion that fans expect. Critics have praised the band’s ability to evolve without losing the identity that made them so beloved in years past.

It goes without saying, Linkin Park have faced immense difficulties over the past few years. From Zero marks their resilience through it all. It demonstrates the band’s ability to pivot, adapt and connect with their audience, even after major changes.

This No. 1 debut also underscores Linkin Park’s legacy as one of modern rock’s most iconic bands. With a stadium tour recently announced, it would appear that things are really looking up for the band. They have again reminded us, once again, why they have remained at the forefront of the rock scene for so long.
