Metallica’s return to Australia and New Zealand this month wasn’t just about stadium shaking riffs and pyro, the band used their time Down Under to quietly invest in the communities hosting them.
Through the All Within My Hands foundation (AWMH), Metallica donated to local organisations in every city on their November 2025 run, continuing their long standing commitment to supporting food banks and community services around the world.

AWMH confirms that Metallica made donations to two organisations in each tour city, working alongside Live Nation Australia to identify local groups focused on feeding people and delivering crucial support services.

Metallica’s charitable activity in Australia this year also included the ‘Bleeding Me’ international blood donation campaign, run in partnership with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. This run marks Metallica’s first visit since headlining Soundwave Festival 2013, with the November stadium shows pulling massive crowds across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.
