Australian heavy metal band Northlane are touring through Australia’s remote regions for the first time in three years.
Kicking off on July 31, the band will be starting in Queensland before heading through New South Wales. They will then head to Perth before finishing up in Victoria. They will also be bringing Ocean Grove and Mirrors along for the ride, with local openers joining them in each state. I do warn you though, this is your last chance to catch them for a while. After this, they’re locking in to write new music, so you better savour it while it lasts.
It’s been a relentless few years for the band. In 2024, Northlane dropped Mirror’s Edge, an EP that pushed their sound even further, with guest spots from Winston McCall (Parkway Drive) and Ian Kenny (Karnivool / Birds of Tokyo). They followed it up with ‘Welcome to the Industry,’ a track built for the upcoming video game Fretless – The Wrath of Riffson.
In between, they’ve barely touched the ground. They’ve smashed festival stages at Good Things and Bassinthegrass, opened for Slipknot in New Zealand, and left their mark on Rock Am Ring, Download, Graspop, and Resurrection. Once this run wraps up, they’re straight back to the US for Louder Than Life Festival.
Joining them is a lineup of homegrown heaviness. Ocean Grove will bring their warped, unhinged energy, fresh off their fourth album ODDWORLD. Mirrors add another layer of intensity with their brooding heaviness, dropping their new single ‘Vestige’ as a taste of what’s next. Local openers round out the bill—Headwreck (QLD), Heists (NSW), Darkmatter (WA), and Lune (VIC).
So while you still have the chance, get in and see Northlane. The full list of tour dates are featured below.
