Apparently one enormous reunion tour wasn’t enough.
Oasis have sold out all 42 dates on their ‘Live ’27’ tour, with tickets disappearing across three days of staggered onsales over the weekend.
The run will take Liam and Noel Gallagher through the UK, mainland Europe, the United States and Ireland between May and September next year, following the huge response to last years reunion.
And some of the numbers involved are fairly ridiculous (per Spin Magazine).
Oasis will play 11 nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in June before eventually closing the tour with six shows at Knebworth Park across three weekends in September.
Knebworth
The Knebworth return carries particular weight. Oasis famously played two nights there in 1996, drawing around 250,000 people across the weekend. The venue is licensed for crowds of up to 125,000 for the 2027 shows, with the six date run setting a new benchmark for the band at the site.
This time around, Oasis also changed how fans got into the ticket queue.
There was no traditional general sale. Fans instead had to register in advance, with randomly selected applicants receiving unique, non-transferable codes granting access to one of nine staggered sale windows between September 25th and 27th.
With every date now gone, the band is warning fans to be wary of tickets offered through unofficial channels.
Official resale will be handled through Ticketmaster and Twickets, with tickets resold at their original purchase price. Oasis has also warned that tickets purchased through unauthorised resale platforms may be cancelled.
Anyone hoping another round of dates might follow the sellout is out of luck, too. The band says no further shows will be added to ‘Live ’27’.
Australian fans are also missing from the itinerary this time around. Oasis brought their reunion tour to Melbourne and Sydney last year, but the currently announced 2027 schedule does not include an Australian return.
For now, 42 shows is apparently enough.
