Ocean Grove Plot Intimate ‘Odd Label’ Tour for May

Share

Ocean Grove are set to go deep into the Oddworld archives this May. The nu metal band have just announced a headline tour that will see them play both Black Label and ODDWORLD in full.

This Odd Label tour marks their first headline run since dropping ODDWORLD last year. It will hit intimate venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Brisbane’s already sold out, Adelaide’s been bumped up to a bigger room, and if you’re holding out for the rest, I wouldn’t. Tickets are moving really fast.

In case you missed it, ODDWORLD is a chaotic, genre-splintering mess in the best way possible. It’s built on hooks, left turns, and a full reunion of original members Luke Holmes and Running Touch, who will be joining the band on stage across the run. It’s also the first release on their own ODDWORLD Records.

But this isn’t just about what’s new. They’re also playing Black Label in full, ten years after it first dropped. It’s the EP that got them charting and turning heads in the first place. It also still holds up as one of the more ambitious, unpredictable releases to come out of the local scene in the last decade.

Main support comes from Diamond Construct, who are still riding high off their 2024 full-length Angel Killer Zero. They will be accompanied by Melbourne genre-mutants DREGG, who have never played a show they didn’t try to completely derail (in a good way).

After this, Ocean Grove join Northlane for a massive regional tour in July and August. But this is the one that will get sweaty.

Tickets can be purchased here.
