On The Steps has unveiled its full 2026 lineup, bringing Rise Against, The Amity Affliction, Wolf Alice and more to Sydney Opera House Forecourt while raising funds for music workers through Support Act.
The series runs from Saturday, November 28th to Saturday, December 12th, with 12 nights of music and an expanded capacity of up to 7,000 people per show.
Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys and Haywire share the bill on Tuesday, December 1st, while The Amity Affliction close the season on Saturday, December 12th with Thornhill and WAAX. Between those dates, Wolf Alice play Friday, December 4th alongside Folk Bitch Trio and Swapmeet, following DMA’S and Automatic the previous evening.
For DMA’S, the hometown appearance will be their biggest show yet.
“Big respect to the Opera House for having us. It’s a great stage with a lot of history. This is the biggest show we’ve put together so we’re stoked to have the privilege – see you this summer”.
Australian Crawl open the series with Boom Crash Opera, with James Blake, Dylan Gossett, Suki Waterhouse and Pub Choir also on the program. Spacey Jane’s two nights and Dizzee Rascal’s show are already sold out.
For a great cause
Alongside the performances, On The Steps is renewing its partnership with Support Act. All proceeds from official series merchandise will go directly to the charity, and fans can add a voluntary donation when buying tickets. That checkout option also applies to any Live Nation show in Australia throughout November.
The money helps Support Act provide short-term financial assistance and mental health support to music workers facing illness, injury or other personal crises, including the crews working behind the scenes.
“We’re grateful to Live Nation for continuing this partnership and to every fan who buys a T-shirt or makes a donation,” Support Act CEO Clive Miller said.
The partnership coincides with AusMusic T-Shirt Day on Thursday, November 26th, giving fans another opportunity to support the charity by wearing an Australian artist’s shirt, starting a fundraiser or donating.
