Original Oasis Bassist Andy Bell Confirms He’s On The 2025 Lineup

The Oasis reunion really isn’t just Liam and Noel putting grudges on mute, Andy Bell has also confirmed he’s in.

The bassist, who held it down from ‘99 through the band’s implosion in 2009, has officially said yes to the ride.

Speaking to Austrian paper Oe24, Bell said, “I’m in and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ll see each other on tour. Or rather, you’ll see me – I’ll hardly be able to see you in the audience.” And with that, we have another onside.

Bell’s spot in the line-up had been circling the rumour mill for months. But now it is officially locked in. Bell won’t be going at it alone either, fellow Beady Eye alumnus Gem Archer is also expected to join the live band. The rest of the lineup is expected to be rounded out with founding guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Joey Waronker (R.E.M., Beck), who Liam previously teased as one of the “new faces.”

Unlike many previously expected, this upcoming tour is not just a quick cash grab. Oasis are locked in for 41 shows across 2025. It all kicks off in the UK and Ireland this July before they storm international stages. Support comes from Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage The Elephant, and Ball Park Music.

And while the band’s manager insists there’ll be no new material — “This is very much the last time around,” he claimed, Liam has since insisted that he is not having it. Jumping on X/Twitter, he cast doubt on the official line, hinting he and “RKID” (aka Noel) are the only ones steering the ship.

So, no promises, but no hard no’s either. For now, it’s about the live gigs, the legacy, and the noise. And with Andy Bell in the mix, it’s one step closer to feeling like the real thing again.
