Ronnie Radke Seeks Restraining Order Against Brittany Furlan Following Renewed Catfish Claims

Ronnie Radke has reportedly filed for a restraining order against Brittany Furlan for making renewed claims about last year’s catfish scandal.

Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has reportedly filed for a temporary restraining order against Brittany Furlan, following a fresh round of public posts that revisited the catfish controversy from 2025.

According to TMZ, Ronnie Radke filed the request in Los Angeles on January 5, asking the court to order Furlan to stay at least 100 yards away from him. The filing reportedly cites alleged harassment, including repeated contact via social media. A hearing is scheduled for January 23, 2026.

The situation stems from the infamous catfish scandal that first surfaced in May last year, when Furlan’s husband Tommy Lee shared a post on Instagram that said, “Who’s been catfished?” That same day, Radke took to his Instagram story, writing: “You been in a fake relationship with a catfish posing as me and that’s why you and Tommy Lee are getting divorced Brittany Furlan?”

Furlan weighed in on the situation at the time through a TikTok video where she explained that herself and Lee had been experiencing relationship issues for a while, and that when she began receiving Snapchats from an account that said it was Ronnie Radke, she continued to interact with them. It’s a whole saga in and of itself – check the link above for a rundown.

Radke has consistently denied any involvement, previously stating that he contacted the FBI over the matter. Over the weekend, Furlan reignited the issue on Instagram Stories, sharing screenshots and alleging the impersonator may have been Radke himself.

In response to the restraining order filing, a representative on behalf of Furlan provided a statement to TMZ: “We are aware of the restraining order petition that has been filed. The claims being made about Ms. Furlan are not accurate.” The statement continued, “Our legal counsel issued multiple cease-and-desist notices in May after what we considered to be a pattern of harassment, bullying and false public statements about her. Those notices were acknowledged but the behavior continued. Ms. Furlan will respond through the court process and hopes the matter can be resolved peacefully. No further comment will be made at this time.”

Furlan explained in her posts that a mysterious Instagram account had been messaging her and leaving comments across multiple pages, including those belonging to Lee and Ronnie Radke’s ex girlfriend Saraya. In one message exchange, she replied “Ok Ronnie” to the account, which then sent messages reading “miss you,” “madly,” and later shared a photo of her.

She further alleged that she attempted to use Instagram’s “forgot password” feature on the account and claimed the last two digits of the associated phone number matched one she had saved for Radke. “Coincidence? I think not,” she wrote, adding that she had been given multiple phone numbers allegedly linked to him.

Furlan later posted a longer statement addressing the situation directly: “This is not how I wanted to start my new year. I wanted to leave this behind and move on with my husband. But every time someone posts a video about me being ‘catfished’ I defend myself because I know the truth.”

She added, “I’d like to move on with my life. I’d like to be left the fuck alone. Not hunted from burners and what not. I would happily take a lie detector test. There is no AI video of a guy getting his dick sucked that’s for sure. I know what I saw. I’m not gonna be gaslit any further. Thank you to everyone who has messaged me and has been the subject of a smear campaign when the narcissist gets caught. It’s not fun. Now please let me move on with my life.”

After Furlan’s initial posts on Saturday, Ronnie Radke weighed in on the situation via multiple Instagram Stories and a post. “You’re messaging fucking parasocial, psychopath fans trying to get them to lie to create false narratives about me. You’re a piece of shit. You wanna talk about who’s narcissistic? You’re narcissistic,” he said.

TMZ reports that Radke alleges Furlan escalated the situation by repeatedly contacting him, and claims she went as far as appearing outside his home and following him to a medical appointment. Radke is seeking court protection as a result.

At the time of writing, neither Ronnie Radke nor his legal team have issued a public statement beyond the court filing. The matter is now set to be addressed through the legal process later this month.
