Nature truly is starting to heal, and what a better sign than rumblings from within the camp that have brought us the beloved Good Things Festival two years in a row now. Despite skipping the 2020 edition on account of, well, obvious reasons, organisers have today announced the festivities will return in 2021, locking in dates and venues.
Good Things Festival 2021 will be sprawled out across three days, hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in the first week of December. That feels like a time far enough in the future for interstate and international travel to be a thing, forecasting a high chance for a slick line-up of local and foreign artists.
Good Things wasted no time at all earning a special spot in the hearts of alternative music fans along the East Coast. Clearly sparing no expense and maintaining a finger to the pulse, both editions of the festival so far have provided forward thinking and fan favourite line-ups, with plenty of other shiny objects to keep punters in high spirits.
Good Things Festival 2019, for example, featured Parkway Drive, The Veronicas, A Day To Remember, Falling In Reverse and Violent Soho. Moreover, who could forget 2018, which saw the first ever Australian performance from BABYMETAL, with headline sets from The Offspring and Stone Sour.
Mum’s the word on any line-up announcements for 2021 but as of today we know the wheels are in motion, and all we need to do is sit back and wait for Good Things to come to us.
Say organisers of the 2021 line up, “We had been working tirelessly on the 2020 line-up for over a year and we are thrilled to announce that all our confirmed acts for this year have signed on for 2021.”
