If you missed The Offspring’s Smash anniversary celebrations when they happened, the band have finally opened the vault.
California punk icons The Offspring have released a complete live video capturing Smash performed front to back during their special 30th anniversary show at Honda Center in Anaheim on June 1st, 2024.
Now available in full, the concert gives fans the chance to experience one of punk rock’s most important records exactly as intended, played live in original sequence from opening intro through to the closing title track.
The Offspring ‘Smash’ 30th anniversary concert
Originally released on April 8th, 1994 through Epitaph Records, Smash became a defining moment not just for The Offspring but for punk rock as a whole.
The album climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard 200, earned six times Platinum certification from the RIAA and helped push punk into the mainstream while becoming one of the most successful independent releases ever.
The anniversary performance stays faithful to that original track order and captures the energy that made the record connect in the first place.

It’s a chance for long time fans to revisit an album that soundtracked an era, for newer listeners discovering The Offspring through more recent releases like SUPERCHARGED, it’s a reminder of why Smash became such a landmark.
There’s no reinvention here and no attempt to modernise the material, just one of punk’s biggest records played loudly, in order, and in full.
Thirty years on, songs like Come Out and Play, Self Esteem and Bad Habit still hit with the same immediacy that made Smash impossible to ignore in the first place.
