In one of the best team-ups of the weekend, Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos jumped onstage with Make Them Suffer during their Good Things Festival Brisbane set.
A Make Them Suffer and Will Ramos crossover wasn’t on our Good Things Festival bingo card, but during their festival set in Brisbane, that’s exactly what went down. The Lorna Shore frontman jumped on stage to join them for a very special rendition of their track ‘Erase Me.’
After killer sets across Melbourne and Sydney Good Things, Make Them Suffer were closing out their run in Brisbane before the surprise appearance happened. Well, a surprise for the fans, at least – especially given Ramos was performing clean vocals live, something Lorna Shore fans have praised him for across his previously-posted covers of tracks including Sleep Token’s ‘Hypnosis’.
The moment was captured by Wall Of Sound AU and shared on social media, and fans were quick to praise the performance – with one commenter calling the moment “iconic” and another saying: “Im gonna cry…I wanted to go and this just adds salt to the wound.”

While Sydney and Melbourne Good Things Festival attendees unfortunately didn’t get to see a similar onstage collab live, fans were still treated to some absolutely massive performances from both Make Them Suffer and Lorna Shore across the weekend. Other acts that played the festival circuit include TOOL, Garbage, Weezer, and last-minute legends Thornhill covering Alpha Wolf (who were, in turn, covering Knocked Loose and unfortunately had to pull out of their slot on Friday afternoon due to an emergency and did not make it to the rest of the dates either).
While Good Things Festival is over for another year and we stare into the void of another 12 months without any alt/heavy music festivals given Park Waves’ cancellation and the absence of Knotfest Australia in 2026, at the very least we got some pretty iconic moments from the weekend to tide us over (as well as some huge upcoming tours to keep the post-gig depression at bay).
