Share

The 2025 ARIA Music Awards nominations have been released, with Amyl & The Sniffers, Ninjaraichi and Dom Dolla earning the highest amounts of nominations this year. Thornhill and Amity Affliction also received nominations for Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Album, and SPEED are also up for Best Live Australian Act.

Nominations for the 39th annual ARIA Music Awards have been revealed. There have been some interesting left-field choices, for example, EDM producer Ninjaraichi has received the most nominations for her debut album, which rightly launched the artist’s notoriety into the stratosphere. Amyl & the Sniffers, along with Dom Dolla, have also netted a respectable amount of nominations across the awards’ 29 categories.

As mentioned above, EDM producer Ninjaraichi has earned the leading amount of ARIA Music Award nominations across all categories with her debut album, I Love My Computer, netting an impressive eight nominations. The artist is up for Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist, Best Independent and Best Electronic Release.

In terms of rock and metal categories, there are some neat recognitions here for Amyl & The Sniffers, along with Thornhill and Amity Affliction. SPEED have also earned themselves an ARIA Music Award nomination for Best Australian Live Act.

While it’s sad not to see acts like Big Noter, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Karnivool miss out, there are still some solid rock and metal picks among the nominations here.

Anyways, with all that pre-amble in mind, here are the full list of nominations below.
