Ghost Set To Make Debut on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ Next Wednesday

Share

Ghost is set to perform on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ July 23, following their sold-out Madison Square Garden show.

Ghost is set to make their debut appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon next week, on Wednesday, July 23. This will also be the band’s first late-night appearance in over 10 years, since performing ‘Cirice‘ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The band confirmed their upcoming appearance on X (formerly known as Twitter) in classic Ghost fashion: “We wish to inform you that Ghost is prepared to put the ROCK in 30 Rock. Haunting Studio 6B, Wednesday, July 23, for their Tonight Show debut! Everybody knows, in the middle of the night it feeds!

While there’s no official confirmation on which track the Swedish-rock legends will play, we can safely assume it’ll be something from their recent Skeletá album, which was released back in April this year.

The announcement comes as Ghost is kicking the US leg of their world tour into gear. The late-night show appearance itself will take place only a day after their sold-out Madison Square Garden concert, as part of their epic and grandiose themed world tour, Skeletour.

It’ll be interesting to see how The Tonight Show audience reacts to the haunted metal band. Based on the reaction Knocked Loose and Poppy received after performing ‘Suffocate’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, I’m holding out for some pearl-clutching and angry Facebook comments. Realistically, I’m betting that, in classic Ghost fashion, witnessing the congregation live will massively convert new fans into embracing the bands wild ride.

While we can’t tune in live to The Tonight Show here in Aus, you can be sure the official YouTube channel will have the segment ready to go right after. So, be sure to visit their channel after they make their debut on Wednesday, July 23.
