Millie Bobby Brown Allegedly Filed A Harrassment Complaint Against Stranger Things Co-Star David Harbour

Netflix has not responded to a report that Millie Bobby Brown made an internal complaint against Harbour that ran for “pages and pages of accusations”.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint against her on-screen adoptive father, David Harbour, prior to the commencement of filming on the fifth and final season of Netflix‘s Stranger Things.

The Mail alleges that Netflix conducted an internal investigation into the matter, but notes that the streaming giant refused to comment on the story. According to an unnamed source, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.” The article emphasises that no accusations of sexual impropriety were made, but that Brown had a personal representative on set at all times during the filming of Stranger Things‘s final season.

The source goes on to add that “Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time.” referring to Harbour’s now-estranged wife, Lily Allen, who is currently enjoying the best reviews of her career for her new album, West End Girl. The album details in excruciating and excoriating detail the events that led up to the collapse of Harbour and Allen’s marriage in December.

The shocking allegations are certainly a headache for Netflix. The streamer is betting that the final season of Stranger Things will be wildly popular to the extent that they’re doing a limited theatrical release. Amid a general vibe that the retro supernatural adventure series has already run past its use by date, the news about onscreen adoptive father and daughter Brown and Harbour couldn’t come at a worse time. It is hard to get teary over the fates of these characters when the series’ father figure appears to have been unmasked as an absolute creep.

Stranger Things season five hits Netflix on November 27.
