Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce 20th Anniversary Vinyl Reissue Of Stadium Arcadium

Two decades after its release, Red Hot Chili Peppers are giving Stadium Arcadium another spin with a new four-LP anniversary edition.

The band’s sprawling ninth studio album will return on vinyl on October 2nd, 2026, with multiple variants planned for collectors and fans looking to revisit one of the biggest releases of the Chili Peppers’ career.

Originally released in 2006, Stadium Arcadium was issued as a double album and became a major commercial success for the band, it topped the Billboard 200 and produced five singles, including ‘Dani California’, ‘Tell Me Baby’, ‘Snow (Hey Oh)’, ‘Desecration Smile’ and ‘Hump de Bump’.

The new anniversary edition will be available across several vinyl variants. Canary yellow and apple red pressings will be available through retailers, while brown smoke and orange smoke versions will be exclusive to independent record stores.

The most limited options will be available directly through the Red Hot Chili Peppers webstore, with the Store Exclusive four LP set pressed on Sea Blue and Ruby Red vinyl.

A significant point in the band’s history

The anniversary also marks a significant point in the band’s history, Stadium Arcadium was the final studio album to feature guitarist John Frusciante before his departure in 2009 (per Audioinkradio).

Frusciante had already left the Chili Peppers during the 1990s, before returning for 1999’s Californication and remaining with the band through Stadium Arcadium. He eventually reunited with Anthony Kiedis, Flea and Chad Smith again in 2019.

That return led into another prolific period, with the band releasing Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen in 2022.

Now, Stadium Arcadium is back in the spotlight, with the four-LP anniversary pressing offering fans a new collector’s edition of an album that remains one of the defining releases in the Red Hot Chili Peppers catalogue.

The limited edition Sea Blue and Ruby Red four-LP set is listed at $79.98 USD (approx. $112.67c AUD) , with shipping scheduled for October 2nd, 2026.
