Scream 7 introduces us to a new generation of serial killer fodder in the form of Isabel May’s Tatum
Every iteration of the now-venerable slasher franchise Scream introduces new characters, for largely mathematical reasons – otherwise we’d have run out of victims years ago. But with Scream 7 incoming shortly, Paramount have released a new featurette to showcase a character that – let’s face it – is probably not destined for an early grave: Isabel May’s Tatum Evans, the daughter of original final girl Sidney Prescott.
Scream 7 “Like Mother Like Daughter” Featurette
What’s the plot?
As the official synopsis tells us:
When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Who’s in it?
- Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Gen X’s fave Final Girl.
- Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, plucky reporter of many haircuts.
- Isabel May as Tatum Evans, Sidney’s daughter.
- Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Randy Meeks’ niece and fellow masked murder spree survivor.
- Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin, Mindy’s twin brother, and see above.
- Joel McHale as Mark Evans, Sidney’s husband… and let’s face it, it’s probably him.
And in roles yet to be announced, we have:
- Mckenna Grace.
- Michelle Randolph.
- Jimmy Tatro.
- Asa Germann.
- Celeste O’Connor.
- Sam Rechner.
- Ethan Embry.

Plus returning players Roger L. Jackson as the voice of Ghostface, David Arquette as the late and much-loved Dewey Riley, Matthew Lillard as OG killer Stu Macher, and Scott Foley as Roman Bridger from Scream 3. Presumably in flashbacks or pre-recorded video or something, but you never know.
When’s it out?
Scream 7 hits Australian cinemas on February 26.
What’s the vibe?
Well, every horror franchise needs flesh blood…
