Sharon Osbourne Dropped By UK Charity After Backing Anti-Immigration Rally

Share

Sharon Osbourne is back in headlines, and not for anything tied to Black Sabbath or reality TV reruns.

UK media figure Sharon Osbourne has been cut loose by homelessness charity Centrepoint after publicly backing a controversial anti-immigration rally linked to far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

The fallout hit fast, and it’s messy (per Loudwire).

Centrepoint cuts ties after rally support

The drama kicked off when Robinson, real name Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, pushed his upcoming ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally across social media, the event is set for May 16th at London’s Trafalgar Square, with rhetoric centred around anti-immigration sentiment.

Osbourne didn’t just scroll past, she jumped into the comments with a blunt: See you at the march.’, that was enough.

Centrepoint, a UK charity focused on youth homelessness, quickly distanced itself, in a statement (per the Guardian) they made it clear where they stand: “This sort of event does not align with our values.”

They doubled down, reinforcing their mission:

“Centrepoint has a proud history of supporting young people whatever their background, ethnicity or religion. If we want young people to thrive in this country then we need to ensure our society continues to allow them to live without fear and able to access the opportunities they need to start education or work and leave homelessness behind.”

While Osbourne had recently been involved in a fundraising campaign, Centrepoint clarified she wasn’t a long-term ambassador and confirmed there are no future plans to work together.

A rally with history, and backlash

This isn’t Robinson’s first rodeo, a similar ‘Unite the Kingdom’ event in 2025 reportedly pulled over 100,000 attendees, but it also ended with arrests and injured police officers, the optics were already volatile before Osbourne stepped in.

So far, she hasn’t publicly responded to Centrepoint cutting ties.

Kneecap pile on

If you’ve been tracking Kneecap lately, you already know they don’t sit quietly, the Irish trio wasted no time firing a shot, reposting the news with a sharp ‘Fuck @MrsSOsbourne’.

There’s history here.

Osbourne previously slammed the group over their politically charged Coachella 2025 set, accusing them of spreading hate speech and backing extremist views, Kneecap hit back then, and clearly, nothing’s cooled.

This latest clash just adds more fuel to an already burning feud.

The bigger picture

This isn’t just another celebrity controversy, it’s a collision between politics, music culture, and public accountability. Osbourne’s comment might’ve been a single line, but the consequences landed hard, and in a scene that’s always thrived on rebellion, the question now is: where’s the line between speaking out and backing something that pushes people away?
